Melissa John is a multi-award-winning rapper, singer, actress, and songwriter. She performs under the stage name Lady Marga MC. She is From the UK East London and she is known for her musical talent. She is of Jamaican, Indian, and Saint Lucian origin and has been active in music since she was a young child. Her interest in music began in primary school, and she continued to develop it while she was in college by studying music and performing arts. During school, she also enjoyed a successful past time playing football for teams such as Tower Hamlets, Arsenal Juniors, and Charlton. However, she was forced to hang up her boots after suffering an injury.

Lady Marga MC features on the album Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica – The Asian Edition, headlined by legendary cricketer Chris Gayle. The album debuted at number 1 on the US iTunes Reggae Album Chart.Her single “Hottest Region”, from the album, features Capleton, Stamma Kid, and Cyanide. The track reached number 1 on the Canadian iTunes Top 100 Reggae Singles Chart and debuted at number 5 on the US iTunes Top 100 Reggae Singles Chart.
